Strategic Partnerships
GUMBO was founded on the obvious logic that partnerships allow each brand to leverage the others’ strengths in order to increase awareness, expand reach and achieve cost efficiencies. Not every brand is worth the time and dedication of talent required to create a partnership, which is why we apply a rigorous analysis to determine suitability. We aren’t looking to duplicate resources here; the ideal partnership values the unique strengths of each. Finding a good match is a matter of pairing complimentary brand values with a similar target market, messaging strategy and aligned goals. But each brand brings different assets and insights that benefit the other. Over the years we’ve created many successful marketing partnerships, which fall into two categories:
Chef Partnership Programs, which bring together culinary brands and respected chefs. An example of this would be the Springer Mountain Farms Chef Partnership Program, which includes over 150 chefs across the South.
Strategic Brand Partnerships, which bring together culinary brands that share similar marketing objectives. An example of this would be the partnership between Big Green Egg and Certified Angus Beef, in which each brand produces and shares content which features the other.
